The Master's Program in History Education at FISIP UNY conducted a Field Work Lecture (KKL) to Trowulan and Bali from September 1-5, 2025. This activity was attended by 28 students from the 2024 cohort through the Odd, Even, and RPL pathways. On the first day, participants explored Hindu-Buddhist heritage sites in Trowulan, including Bajang Ratu Temple, Brahu Temple, Tikus Temple, and Segaran Pool. The trip then continued to Bali, beginning with a public lecture titled "Human Hybridity in Bali" by Prof. Dr. I Made Pageh, M.Hum., at Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha). This course discusses the social, cultural, and religious roots of contemporary Balinese society. The visit to Undiksha was also marked by the signing of a cooperation pact between the History Education Study Program at UNY and the Sociology, History, and Library Study Program at FHIS Undiksha. This cooperation includes curriculum development, media development, as well as the academic enhancement of students and lecturers. The students then visited the Museum Gedung Krtya, a place for conserving thousands of historical lontar manuscripts. Here, they not only witnessed lontar collections from various eras but also had the opportunity to try writing on lontar, thus gaining direct experience related to Balinese literary traditions. On the third day, the group visited Tenganan Pegringsingan Traditional Village in Karangasem. This village presents a 15th-century life atmosphere, with thatched-roof wooden houses, a forest surrounding the village, a local wisdom-based school, and traditional weavers who add cultural value to the area.  The last stops are Pura Taman Ayun and Tanah Lot. Taman Ayun, the royal family temple of Mengwi, offers unique architecture and history, while Tanah Lot presents the legend of the guardian snake and a typical panorama above a coral island. During this visit, the Community Service Program also produced a follow-up project in the form of an audio-visual product as a history learning medium, which will be submitted as Intellectual Property Rights (HAKI). It is hoped that this product will help students visualize Hindu-Buddhist historical sites more realistically, making the learning process more interesting and easier to understand. By: Diki Kristiyadi
